摘要: In recent years a growing demand for simple and robust SNP genotyping platforms has arisen from the widespread use of SNPs in industrial public research. The resulting knowledge about genotype/phenotype correlations is special interest identification potential new drug targets field pharmacogenomics. However, full exploitation available genomic information requires vast numbers analyses, as large cohorts patients have to be screened number markers. Only very few current techniques can cope with demands concerning sample throughput, automation, accuracy cost-effectiveness. MALDI-TOF mass spectrometry develop into 'Gold Standard' high-throughput - if it not already done so. This review will focus on latest developments this technology.
