摘要: Tissue oxygen tensions were measured in subcutaneously growing rat 9L gliosarcoma under normal air and carbogen breathing conditions prior to after i.v. administration of a perflubron emulsion. When these animals treated with the anti-angiogenic agents TNP-470 minocycline for 5 days measurement, tumor hypoxia was decreased compared untreated tumors. Hypoxia, defined as percent pO2 readings < or = mm Hg, from 71% air-breathing controls 34% agents, emulsion breathing. These effects manifest increased response single-dose (10, 20 30 Gy) radiation therapy. Twenty-four hours treatment BCNU oxygenation tumors not altered; however, 24 hr adriamycin such that adriamycin-treated receiving reduced 21%. Tumor growth delay s.c. by addition day 4 through 18 post-tumor cell implantation along on 7-11. Administration resulted chemotherapeutic alone combination agents. Life span bearing intracranially implanted progressively then emulsion/carbogen adriamycin.
