摘要: Abstract Objectives Frailty in older adults is a serious problem because of various adverse health outcomes many countries with aging populations, such as Japan. The purpose this study was to determine whether frailty and pre-frailty are associated cognitive decline sarcopenia community-dwelling adults. Design This cross-sectional study. Setting Participants participants were 273 Japanese women aged 65 years older. Measurements We used the criteria developed by Cardiovascular Health Study define physical frailty. divided cohort into nonfrail, prefrail, frail according scores. Cognitive memory defined using Mini-Mental State Examination Scenery Picture Memory Test, respectively. Sarcopenia diagnostic algorithm recommended Asian Working Group for Sarcopenia. Results In multivariate logistic regression analysis non-frail reference, pre-frail elderly individuals significantly more likely have than [odds ratio (OR): 2.77, 95% confidence interval (CI): 1.05–9.26], but not or decline. Frail (OR: 5.76, CI: 1.20–27.6), 5.53, 1.64–18.7) 19.1, 3.73–98.0) individuals. Conclusions frailty, whereas only
