Scand J Gastroenterol 1991, 26(suppl 181), 58–64Growth studies were performed involving analysis bacterium and its microenvironment, lend insight into factors responsible for phenomenon. H. converted forms in broth culture after incubation 5 days under micro aerobic conditions with agitation. This was paralleled by a dramatic decrease colony-forming units per milliliter (CFU/ml) significant endogenous increase pH culture.
