摘要: Recently we reported that the supplementation of vitamin B6 to low diet caused suppression in colon tumorigenesis and cell proliferation azoxymethanetreated mice a dose-dependent manner among 1, 7, 14mg pyridoxine HCl/kg (J Nutr 131: 2204-2207, 2001). To examine mechanism anticolon tumor effect B6, male ICR were fed containing 14, 35 mg for 22 wk simultaneously given weekly injection azoxymethane an initial 10 wk. The (1 HCl/kg) suppressed levels colonic 8-hydroxyguanosine 4-hydroxynonenal in-ducible nitric oxide synthase protein. results suggest preventive vita-min against is at least part mediated by reducing oxidative stress production.
