摘要: We have recently characterized a 95 kDa protein, p95, which exhibits enhanced binding to temperature-sensitive p53 (ts-p53) when cells are shifted down 32.5 degrees C, temperature at ts-p53 possesses wild-type (wt)-like activities. In the present study we show that p95 is product of mdm2 putative proto-oncogene. The complex formation with in maintained C due an elevation total protein levels following shift. further demonstrate induction expression by t activity mRNA level. occurs very rapid kinetics and does not require de novo synthesis, suggesting direct involvement process. Based on these data recent findings implicating as transcription factor, suggest gene target for activation wt p53. view ability act specific antagonist activity, this process may serve tightly autoregulate living cells.
