摘要: Laser technology has advanced tremendously since the first gas lasers were incorporated into early flow cytometers. Gas have been largely replaced by solid-state laser technology, making virtually any desirable visible light wavelength available for cytometry. Multiwavelength, white light, and tunable are poised to enhance our analytical capabilities even further. In this chapter, I summarize role that play in cytometry, practical characteristics make a appropriate then review latest single how they can be used excite ever-expanding array of fluorochromes. Finally, contribution potential show several examples these novel sources integrated production instruments. Technical details critical parameters successful application biomedical analysis covered depth.
