摘要: Much of the attention in developing diagnostic tools and therapeutic interventions for management osteoarthritis (OA) has focused on preservation or repair articular cartilage. It is clear that all joint components, including ligaments, tendons, capsule, synovial lining, periarticular bone, undergo structural functional alterations during course OA progression. This article focuses specific skeletal features putative mechanisms involved their pathogenesis.
