摘要: AEG-1 is an oncogene that overexpressed in all cancers, including hepatocellular carcinoma. plays a seminal role promoting cancer development and progression by augmenting proliferation, invasion, metastasis, angiogenesis chemoresistance, hallmarks of aggressive cancer. mediates its oncogenic function predominantly interacting with various protein complexes. acts as scaffold protein, activating multiple protumorigenic signal transduction pathways, such MEK/ERK, PI3K/Akt, NF-κB Wnt/β-catenin while regulating gene expression at transcriptional, post-transcriptional translational levels. Our recent studies document fundamentally required for activation inflammation. A comprehensive convincing body data currently points to essential component critical the onset The present review describes current knowledge gleaned from patient experimental well transgenic knockout mouse models, on impact hepatocarcinogenesis.
