摘要: The current published data on p53 expression and its predictive value in the risk of malignant gastrointestinal stromal tumors (GIST) has are inconclusive. To derive a more precise estimation correlation between biological behavior GIST, meta-analysis was performed. Studies were identified by searching PubMed Embase. Inclusion criteria GIST patients, evaluation malignancy. odds ratio (OR) for positive rate benign group vs. that ORs National Institutes Health (NIH) very low + (VL+L) NIH intermediate high (I+H) calculated with 95% confidence interval (CI) each study as an p53. A total 19 studies including 1163 patients involved this meta-analysis. overall OR revealed significantly elevated risks achieved (OR 0.14, CI: 0.06–0.31, P<0.00001, Pheterogeneity=0.86). Moreover, I+H comparison VL+L (OR, 0.25; CI, 0.17–0.38; Pheterogeneity=0.04). results indicate correlates poor prognosis close relationship within group.
