摘要: In the field of ecological restoration, many authors call for more stakeholder participation in process restoration. their opinion, when a restoration project is planned, range points view and knowledge local stakeholders need to be taken into account limit risk failure. Although effective involvement often cited as factor success, practice, it far from systematic. To understand ways which actually participate projects opinion projects, we analysed three projects. We interviewed people who would affected by French Pyrenean Mountains: inhabitants, livestock farmers, other users territory, site managers, locally elected officials, experts, development agents. Our results revealed that how interviewees viewed outcome success depended on own activity, also influenced way they defined territory concerned Two different perceptions objectives approaches coexist Pyrenees. The first highly technical aim simply restore original plant cover. this case, ‘territory’ limited area restored its immediate surroundings. second perception takes both past possible land uses consequently concerns larger restored. If actors desired, recommend comprehensive management approach likely arouse interest stakeholders.
