摘要: Rapid economic development in recent decades has resulted environmental degradation of Liaodong Bay, North China, where eutrophication is becoming more evident because excess nutrients inputs. To assess the benthic ecological status AZTI’s Marine Biotic Index (AMBI) and multivariate-AMBI (M-AMBI) were applied using both macroinvertebrate density biomass data collected from Bay July 2007. This first application AMBI M-AMBI showed that nearshore areas bay, especially near river estuaries, severely disturbed, with a clear gradient disturbance decreasing seaward. Ecological assessed was quite similar. Significant relationships also found between indices variables Bay.
