摘要: In Escherichia coli biotin biosynthesis is repressed by high concentrations of exogenous biotin. This paper reports that upon level production the apo form a biotinated protein, operon expression was derepressed 8-10-fold. The protein studied 1.3 S subunit Propionibacterium shermanii, and transcarboxylase derepression assayed beta-galactosidase in strains which carry lacZ gene altered such it transcribed from promoters. Depression synthesis observed over several hundred-fold range also resulted an increased at maximally repressing concentrations. Biotin apobiotin seems direct consequence properties repressor functions as ligase catalyzing covalent attachment to apoproteins.
