摘要: It has been well established that the circadian clock plays a crucial role in regulation of almost every physiological process. also critical pathophysiological states including those obesity and diabetes. Recent evidence highlighted potential for targeting as drug target. New studies have demonstrated existence “clock-independent effects” proteins, leading to exciting new avenues research field physiology. The goal this review is provide an introduction overview physiology, mechanisms, targets, disease states. clocks cardiovascular system, renal function, metabolism, endocrine immune, reproductive systems will be discussed.
