摘要: Abstract A novel electrochemical catalyst (Ni/K-βAl 2 O 3 /Au) has been prepared, characterized and tested under promotion conditions for the water gas shift reaction. At 350 °C, CO/H O: 1%/3% composition, negative potential applications in single chamber cell, i.e., K + supplied ions to active Ni film, caused a strong increase catalytic reaction rate H production (maximum enhancement ratio ρ = 2.7 at optimal conditions). The promotional phenomenon was found be reversible due activation of molecules chemisorption vs. CO with consequent formation OH species. achieved results show practical application catalysis base metal catalysts this kind processes.
