摘要: Ionic concentration-polarization (CP)-based biomolecule preconcentration is an established method for enhancing the detection sensitivity of a target immunoassay. However, its main drawback lies in inability to directly control spatial overlap between preconcentrated plug biomolecules and surface immobilized antibodies. To overcome this, we simultaneously freely suspended, functionalized nanoparticles molecules along edge depletion layer, thus, increasing binding kinetics avoiding need tune their relative locations ensure overlap. After desired incubation time, were dielectrophoretically trapped postprocessing analysis signal. This novel combination CP-based dielectrophoresis (DEP) was demonstrated through avidin biotin-conjugated particles as model bead-based immunoassay, wherein increased compared immunoassay without preconcentration. The DEP trapping beads following important not only enhanced signal due at electrode edges but also controlling location future applications integrating localized sensors. In addition, may be preprocessing step number participating
