摘要: The roles of inflammatory cytokines and the immune response in cancer remain paradoxical. In case tumor necrosis factor (TNF), there is undisputed evidence indicating both protumor antitumor activities. Recent work Drosophila indicated that a TNF-dependent mechanism eliminates cells deficient for polarity suppressors dlg or scrib. this study, however, we show tumors scrib also expressed Ras oncoprotein, TNF signal was diverted into enhanced growth through larval arrest stimulated invasive migration. case, promoted malignancy detrimental to host survival. at high levels by tumor-associated hemocytes recruited from circulation. expression necessary sufficient trigger signaling cells. Our suggests can evolve oncogenic activation hijacking signaling.
