摘要: A population-based case-control study was conducted in Taiwan between July 1991 and June 1994 to evaluate the significance risk factors for cervical intraepithelial neoplasia (CIN) among Taiwanese women. Personal interviews were compiled with 288 histologically confirmed CIN who matched by age 576 randomly selected controls normal smears. Using logistic regression models simultaneously effects of multiple as predictors CIN, we found that strongest associate HPV infection (OR = 5.02). Other significant risks included husband's visiting prostitutes 2.56), four or more vaginal deliveries 2.01), two induced abortions 1.96), sex partners 1.87). protective effect also noted use condoms 0.38). These data support hypothesis is sexually transmitted Taiwan's population may have a viral etiology. Furthermore results indicate important role nonuse contributing high incidence rate population.
