摘要: We examined a panel of 25 small cell lung cancer (SCLC) lines and nude mouse xenografts for expression the proto-oncogenes c-met c-kit, corresponding ligands, hepatocyte growth factor (HGF) (also known as scatter (SF)), stem (SCF), respectively. Expression mRNA was detected by Northern blotting, c-kit protein Western blotting immunocytochemistry. expressed in 22 or xenografts, coexpression two observed 20 tumours. paralleled expression. HGF/SF tumours, only one these also proto-oncogene. SCF 19 18 present. The high percentage SCLC tumours expressing indicates that may have an important function this disease. rare is evidence autocrine regulatory pathway not present receptor/ligand system SCLC, while frequent SCLC.
