摘要: This article addresses organised public participation processes related to installations for nuclear research. The aim was determine predictors that could provide an empirical insight into the motivations underlying people's intended level of involvement. results highlight attitude towards and moral norm as strongest intention. Other significant were time constraints, energy, subjective descriptive norms, knowledge. An opposing relationship is noted between intention energy. At same time, people who are more knowledgeable about domain seem willing get involved. analysis also revealed financial benefits do not influence involvement in research installations. reported here based on data from a large-scale opinion survey (N = 1020) carried out Belgium during May-June 2011.
