摘要: Background The mobile-bearing variant of a single-radius design is assumed to provide more freedom motion compared the fixed-bearing because insert does not restrict natural movements femoral component. This would reduce contact stresses and wear which in turn may have positive effect on fixation prosthesis bone thereby decreases risk for loosening. aim this study was evaluate early migration tibial component kinematics total knee same design. Methods Twenty Triathlon posterior-stabilized prostheses were implanted (9 11 fixed-bearing). Fluoroscopy roentgen stereophotogrammetric analysis (RSA) performed 6 12 months post-operatively. Findings 1 year post-operative RSA results showed considerable migrations 3 out 9 patients patients. range flexion group. mobile following during motion. Interpretation Despite motion, therefore performing as intended, no kinematic advantages seen. good maybe even slightly better based less irregular migrations.
