摘要: Objective(s):Several studies have been carried out to investigate the effect of various nanoparticles exposed radiofrequency (RF) waves on cancerous tissues. In this study, a colon carcinoma tumor model was irradiated by RF in presence gold-gold sulfide (GGS) nanoshells. Materials and Methods: Synthesis characterization GGS nanoshells were initially performed. CT26 cells subcutaneously injected into flank BALB/c mice create models. Then tumors subjected different treatments. Treatment factors included intratumoral injection radiation. Different groups considered as control with no treatment, receiving GGS, simultaneous administration RF. Efficacy treatments evaluated daily monitoring volume recording relative changes it, time needed for 5-fold increase (T5) utilizing pathologic determine lost tumors. Results: comparison group, growth not markedly inhibited only or RF, while group effectively compared other groups. addition, T5 higher groups. Conclusion: This study showed that radiation can reduce GGS. Hence, it be predicted convert sub-lethal effects noninvasive fields lethal damages
