摘要: Hepatitis E, an important cause of morbidity and mortality in humans, accounts for more than 50% acute viral hepatitis young adults developing countries with a 20–30% rate among infected pregnant women primarily those their third trimester. The development inactivated or live attenuated virus vaccine has been hampered because this does not replicate efficiently cell culture. A developed by alternative approach through recombinant technology. Preliminary results the first administration man conducted US at Walter Reed Army Institute Research indicate to be safe immunogenic have led decision further evaluate endemic setting.
