摘要: LONG-TERM REMISSION OF HIV-1 DISEASE CAN BE READILY ACHIEVED by combinations of antiretroviral agents. The suppression plasma viral loads to less than the limit quantification most sensitive commercially available assays (i.e., 50 copies/mL) and coincident improvement in CD4 T cell counts is associated with resolution established opportunistic infections a decrease risk new infections. However, prolonged treatment combination regimens can be difficult sustain because problems adherence toxic effects. All drugs have both short-term long-term adverse events. specific side effects varies from drug drug, class class, patient patient. A better understanding agents interest not only for HIV specialists as they try optimize therapy, but also other physicians who care HIV-positive patients.
