摘要: Abstract Bleomycin treatment produced dose-dependent changes in lung collagen content and several measurable histopathological parameters. NIH/Swiss mice were treated twice weekly for 6 weeks with bleomycin, 0, 1, 20, or 40 mg/kg s.c. The two highest doses mortalities of 35 100%, respectively, as well loss body weight increase wet weight. Lung hydroxyproline content, an index collagen, increased to 50% above control levels at 8 after initiation bleomycin 20 mg/kg. Morphometric analysis was applied the following parameters light microscopy: number intraalveolar macrophages leukocytes, total pulmonary cell count, alveolar wall thickness, percentage consolidation parenchyma. increases all these compared controls. most marked occurred cells, which group given rose 150, 190, 210% controls 4, 6, weeks. lowest dose 1 weeks, evoked no other toxicity by examined. This model chronic may be useful analog development, testing potential antidotes, examining effects factors that might modify bleomycin.
