摘要: Considerable attention has been devoted to the diagnosis of small cell lung carcinoma (SCLC) and its subtypes. In literature contradictory opinions have published concerning clinical implications subtyping, largely because different criteria used by pathologists. This article is a consensus report Pathology Committee International Association for Study Lung Cancer. The following classification SCLC recommended: (1) Small carcinoma. subtype includes most tumors previously included in oat intermediate More than 90% untreated fall into this category. (2) Mixed cell/large subtype, which may be associated with poor prognosis response therapy, contains spectrum types ranging from typical larger cells having prominent nucleoli resembling large (3) Combined carcinomas. Typical elements are intimately admixed areas differentiated squamous or adenocarcinoma. simplified will facilitate uniformity further our understanding significance rarer variant morphologies.
