摘要: Malignant brain cancer persists as a major disease of morbidity and mortality. The failure to recognize energy metabolism has contributed in large part the management. As long tumor cells have access glucose glutamine, will progress. current standard care provides tumors with glutamine. high fat low carbohydrate ketogenic diet (KD) target availability possibly that glutamine when administered carefully restricted amounts reduce total caloric intake circulating levels glucose. KD (RKD) targets signaling pathways associated including IGF-1/PI3K/Akt/Hif pathway. RKD is anti-angiogenic, anti-invasive, anti-inflammatory, pro-apoptotic evaluated mice malignant cancer. therapeutic efficacy can be enhanced combined drugs also Therapeutic was seen against gliomas human case reports. Hence, an effective non-toxic option for inhibiting growth invasive properties
