摘要: In mice, activation induced deaminase, AID, is expressed only in germinal center B cells. It required for the initiation of somatic hypermutation and class switch recombination. chickens most mammals immunoglobulin gene rearrangement generates limited diversity primary repertoire depends on subsequent or conversion. Immunoglobulin conversion starts embryonic bursa, before antigen exposure. The demonstrated requirement AID bursal lymphoma cell line, DT40, implies developmental regulation expression. To test this prediction, we examined timing location mRNA An abrupt increase coincided with onset extensive Ig bursa. Expression was also detected at earlier stages, implying either that expression not controlling factor conversion, can precede formation follicles.
