摘要: This review provides a concise survey of liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (LC-TMS) as an emerging technology in clinical chemistry. The combination two spectrometers with interposed collision cell characterizes LC-TMS analytical on its own and not just more specific detector for HPLC compared conventional techniques. In LC-TMS, chromatography is rather used sample preparation but complete resolution compounds interest. instrument complex comparatively expensive; however, routine use, methods are far rugged to chromatographic techniques enable high-throughput analyses very limited manual handling steps. Moreover, both gas chromatography-mass (GC-MS) techniques, substantially versatile respect the spectrum analyzable compounds. For these reasons it likely that will gain widespread use laboratory than GC-MS ever did. this article, key features described, method development explained, typical fields application discussed, personal experiences related.
