摘要: Despite the broad diversity of Vibrionaceae, they display a surprising number conserved features, most striking which may be ubiquitous presence two chromosomes. Based on complete genome sequences and findings generated therefrom, we discuss origin, evolution stability this unusual chromosomal arrangement as well its possible benefits.
