摘要: Aim To describe the radiological, endoscopic, and pathological findings of gastric schwannomas in 16 patients. Materials methods The surgically proven cases schwannoma were retrospectively reviewed. All patients underwent computed tomography (CT) four evaluated with upper gastrointestinal series. Two radiologists reviewed CT series images by consensus regard to tumour size, contour, margin, growth pattern, presence or absence ulcer, cystic change, enhancement pattern. Endoscopy was performed eight these Six endoscopic ultrasonography. Pathological specimens obtained from all Immunohistochemistry for c-kit, CD34, smooth muscle actin, S-100 protein. Results On radiographic examination, appeared as submucosal tumours features well-demarcated, homogeneous, uncommonly ulcerated masses. ultrasonography demonstrated masses contiguous muscularis propria six examined cases. well-circumscribed homogeneous consisted microscopically interlacing bundles spindle cells. Strong positivity protein on immunohistochemistry. Conclusion Gastric appear stomach have well-demarcated CT, ultrasonography, gross pathology. consistently reveals tumours.
