摘要: Abstract In vitro physiologically-based extraction tests (PBETs) play a key role in human risk assessment/exposure of xenobiotics from environmental and food samples. These methods are aimed at determining potential bioaccessible species the gastrointestinal tract and, thus, might serve as first step for correct estimation average daily intakes oral exposition studies. However, use PBETs should be restricted to those that correlate well with bioavailability using animal models or ecotoxicity data assure they mimicking physiological conditions appropriately. In this review, in vitro assessing bioaccessibility contaminants emerging concern presented including steps reliable processing extracts. Particular attention is given combined validated against bioassays cytotoxicity studies, adhesion/absorption studies cell lines, transepithelial transport, in vivo analysis based on models. This review serves tutorial guide aid practitioners selecting most suitable exposomics solid substrates.
