摘要: The distribution of the three mammalian isoforms transforming growth factor (TGF)-beta (TGF-beta 1, -beta 2, and 3) as well their signaling receptors, TGF-beta type I II receptors (T beta R-I T R-II, respectively), in gastric carcinoma tissue was examined by immunohistochemistry using specific antibodies. Tissue specimens were obtained from 25 cases carcinoma, which classified into two groups according to Lauren's classification, i.e. 15 diffuse 10 intestinal carcinoma. In normal mucosa apart nests, all 3, R-II clearly demonstrated fundic glands. sharp contrast, none them detectable surface mucous cells. cells, strong staining for 2 3 only diffuse-type particular, cells scattered single or small nests had a tendency show TGF-betas. tended be distributed concomitantly with ligands, showed stronger receptor than intestinal-type cancer stroma, TGF-betas detected both types, but area positive wider more dispersed These results suggest that may contribute part variety histogenesis mode progression
