摘要: Low survival of stocked fish has been associated with fitness declines the captive reared fishes because genetic domestication and unnatural rearing environments. The effects broodstock origin (wild or captive) method (standard enriched) on migration hatchery-reared Atlantic salmon smolts (Salmo salar) were investigated in Tornionjoki River using radiotelemetry. Smolts that enriched methods had a twofold increase (38%) compared standard hatchery environment (19%). Nature-caught highest (57%). from higher initial speed than rearing. Initial during first 3 km was positively correlated to probability after 290 for fish. There no clear effect speed. results this study show enriching easily applicable large-scale production promotes smolt river migration, which is imperative stocking success.
