摘要: The development of neural transplantation as a treatment for Parkinson’s disease has been compromised by lack functional efficacy and the appearance transplant-induced motor side-effects in some patients. Since first reports these graft-induced dyskinesias (GID), realization their impact on progress field, great deal experimental work performed to determine underlying cause(s) this problematic side-effect. In review we describe clinical phenomenon GID, explore different representations GID rodent models, examine various hypotheses that have postulated be cause. Based available preclinical data outline strategies avoid future trials using fetal cell transplants or preparations derived from stem cells.
