摘要: Summary. Waveform changes in the fetal electrocardiogram (ECG) are under reassessment as a means of surveillance. The purpose study was t o identify ST waveform from scalp lead during labour and to compare any change with conventional signs distress. Two electrodes provided sufficiently stable signal which could be identified measured T/QRS ratio. No infant clinically hypoxic. Only 26%’of 46 patients studied had continuously normal CTG whereas 67% no abnormalities. A relation found between two variables mean ratio increased 0·20 (SD 0·11) epochs 0.27 0·17) changes. linear correlation (r=0·58: P<0·01) before birth cord plasma lactate values.
