摘要: Erythroid progenitors can be generated ex vivo from human embryonic stem cells (hESC) or induced pluripotent (hiPS). Development of laboratory scale culture conditions capable generating mature functional erythrocytes would open the possibility for manufacture therapeutic quantities red and thereby new clinical transfusion products.
