摘要: Abstract A series of borosilicate-based glasses, ternary BaO–SiO2–B2O3 and quaternary BaO–SiO2–B2O3–Al2O3 systems, are prepared as sealing materials for intermediate temperature solid oxide fuel cells (IT-SOFCs). The thermal expansion, crystalline phases, glass forming ability, thermo-chemical stabilities the glasses characterized. Additionally, effect B2O3/SiO2 ratio Al2O3 BaO contents on coefficient expansion (CTE) discussed compared. Test results show that one (G6) can fully wet various substrates at 1000 °C match expansion. Possible interfacial reactions between those cell components aging up to 5000 h investigated by element mapping, XRD, SEM, EPMA. Leakage testing was also performed temperatures 650 °C. remains amorphous after test is stable under these conditions compatible with other components.
