摘要: Overexpression of the c-erbB-2 oncogene has been demonstrated in a variety tumours, including colorectal tumours. In breast carcinoma, overexpression is associated with DNA ploidy, some other prognostic indicators, and unfavourable survival prospects. However, there little such information available regarding this study, was analysed retrospectively by immunohistochemistry 293 primary adenocarcinomas to assess its relation S-phase fraction, factors, patient survival. Using monoclonal antibody NCL-CB11, we found that 23% tumours were strongly positive, while 36% showed weak expression. The highest frequency expression 81% tetraploid compared 63% aneuploid and, 53% diploid (test for heterogeneity, p = 0.031). indicated favourable prognosis patients (p 0.0088), but not those or value remained even after adjustment Dukes' stage 0.027). results suggest combination ploidy may improve identification patients' risk cancer death.
