摘要: Previous analysis of this prospective randomized trial and meta-analysis published trials adjuvant intraperitoneal chemotherapy demonstrated improved survival in patients with advanced gastric cancer. Simple criteria applicable at the time surgery for patient selection were sought analysis. From 1990 to 1995 a series 248 biopsy-proven cancer intraoperatively receive early postoperative mitomycin C 5-fluorouracil (125 patients) versus only (123 patients). Gastric resection plus showed overall compared (54% 38%, respectively; p = 0.0278). There statistically significant differences stage III (57% 23%, 0.0024) those IV (28% 5%, 0.0098) The improvement rate was subgroup gross serosal invasion (52% 25%, 0.0004) lymph node metastasis (46% 22%, 0.0027). surgeons' impression about status unreliable, but assessment accurate 80% cases. Gross or without frozen section evaluation nodes can be used as major
