摘要: We present an array detector of a column 32 smart pixels, each comprising 20-mum single-photon avalanche diode, front-end electronics for quenching the and resetting after ignition, 8 bit photon counter storing register. Each pixel has dark-counting rate 2 kcps (counts per second) can reach maximum 25 Mcps. The image is acquired by counting photons within programmable frame times, down to 320 ns. tops from 100 kframe/s 3 Mframe/s, depending on desired dynamic range, bits respectively. report design characterization chip we ascertain expandability larger number columns high-frame two-dimensional imagers.
