Comparison of the sensitive screening kit with two ELISA sets for detection of anti-Toxocara antibodies.

摘要: Three serological tests (ELISA NOVUM, ELISA PU and ToxocaraCHEK) were compared using excretory-secretory (ES) antigen of second stage larvae Toxocara canis on two sets sera from patients aged 1-15 years, living in town the country, suspected having larval toxocarosis. Of 60 serum samples examined for presence anti-Toxocara IgM IgG antibodies 35 (58.3%) positive with 30 (50.0%) 37 (61.6%) ToxocaraCHEK. A significantly higher seropositivity all was detected group village (test chi2, p < 0.005) when town. The highest sensitivity (100%) a rapid qualitative Compared this screening test, both showed specificity but lower sensitivity. Consistent findings (+;-) NOVUM 88.3%; ToxocaraCHEK 96.7% 86.7%. This comparison indicates suitability set its simplicity rapidity detecting antibodies.
