摘要: Canids are definitive hosts of Taenia and Echinococcus species, which infect a variety mammals as intermediate or accidental including humans. Parasite transmission is based on domestic, semi-domestic wildlife cycles; however, little known the epidemiological significance wild large such wolf. In this study, 179 scats wolves (Canis lupus italicus) collected throughout Italian region Liguria were analyzed for detection taeniid infection. Taeniid egg isolation was performed using sieving/flotation technique, species level identified by PCR (gene target: 12S rRNA nad 1) followed sequence analyses. Based homologies ≥99%, hydatigena in 19.6%, krabbei 4.5%, ovis 2.2%, crassiceps 0.6%, Hydatigera taeniaeformis 0.6% granulosus 5.6% samples. According to these results, Canis italicus can be considered involved (including cervids rodents) cycles sheep goats) taeniids area.
