Variation in gene expression patterns in follicular lymphoma and the response to rituximab

摘要: Analysis of the patterns gene expression in follicular lymphomas from 24 patients suggested that two groups tumors might be distinguished. All patients, whose biopsies were obtained before any treatment, treated with rituximab, a monoclonal antibody directed against B cell antigen, CD20. Gene subsequently failed to respond rituximab appeared more similar those normal lymphoid tissues than responders. These findings suggest possibility response lymphoma treatment may predicted pattern tumors.
