摘要: Abstract This study investigated the relationship of PROP sensitivity with body mass index, food preferences, and consumption Filipino adolescents, aged 13–17, from various parts Quezon City, Rizal, Marikina City. Anthropometric dietary intake measurements followed by sensory evaluation for taster status classification were done. Results showed that adolescent sample population was composed 7% nontasters, 59% medium tasters, 34% supertasters. No association (p > 0.05) between BMI found. Increased preferences meat, poultry fish, condiments positively correlated (p   0.05) shown adolescents. The correlation adolescents may be due to parental influence, limited range experience appreciation since preference is within their hedonic qualities.
