摘要: The EGF receptor family of tyrosine kinase growth factor receptors is expressed in a variety cell types and has been implicated the progression certain human adenocarcinomas. most recent addition to this receptors, HER4, was NIH 3T3 cells determine its biological biochemical characteristics. Cells expressing HER4 were responsive heregulin β2 as demonstrated by an increase phosphorylation ability form foci on monolayer. exhibited vitro activity able phosphorylate regulatory subunit phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase SHC. Peptide competition studies identified 1056 binding site tyrosines 1188 1242 two potential SHC sites. Interestingly, transfection into conferred responsiveness with respect colony formation soft agar. It also found that response β2, endogenous murine HER1 or transfected became phosphorylated when present. This demonstrates can exist heterodimer complex likely activate each other transphosphorylation.
