摘要: The human gene encoding thyroid transcription factor-1 (TTF-1), a homeodomain-containing nuclear protein of the Nkx2 family, was isolated and characterized. Human TTF-1 encoded by single locus spanning approximately 3.3 kilobases consisted two exons intron. cDNA polypeptide 371 amino acids have been highly conserved, sharing 98% identity with rat polypeptide. mRNA were selectively expressed in mouse pulmonary adenocarcinoma cell lines. In addition to its presence gland epithelium, detected immunohistochemistry fetal lung as early 11 weeks gestation, being localized nuclei epithelial cells developing airways.
