摘要: The protein content of tomato (Lycopersicon esculentum) xylem sap was found to change dramatically upon infection with the vascular wilt fungus Fusarium oxysporum. Peptide mass fingerprinting and spectrometric sequencing were used identify most abundant proteins appearing during compatible or incompatible interactions. A new member PR-5 family identified that accumulated early in both types interaction. Other pathogenesis-related appeared interactions only, concomitantly disease development. This study demonstrates feasibility using proteomics for identification known novel sap, provides insights into plant-pathogen diseases.
