摘要: Genetic alterations involving TMPRSS2-ERG and deletion of key tumor suppressor genes are associated with development progression prostate cancer (PCa). However, less defined early events that may contribute to the high-risk metastatic cancer. Bioinformatic analysis existing genomic data from PCa patients revealed WAVE complex gene a greater likelihood recurrence. Further primary vs. castration resistant indicate disruption expression, particularly WAVE1 (WASF1) loss, is also resistance, where WASF1 frequently co-deleted PTEN resists androgen deprivation therapy (ADT). Hence, we propose status defines subtype ADT-resistant patients. Better understanding effects pathway will lead better diagnostic treatment modalities.
