摘要: There is considerable interest in using information technology (IT) to enhance the quality and safety of healthcare. We undertook a systematic literature review assess impact eHealth applications on retrieved 46,349 potentially relevant publications, from which we selected 67 reviews for inclusion. The was found be poorly collated variable its methodology, reporting utility. categorised into three main areas: i). storing, managing transmission data; ii). supporting clinical decision-making; iii). facilitating care distance. that relative potential benefits noted within literature, little empirical evidence exists support these applications. Of few studies revealing clearest benefits, many are academic centres where developers new have also been directly associated with their evaluation. It therefore unclear how effective would if deployed outside environment they were developed. Our healthcare demonstrated vast gap between postulated empirically benefits. In addition, there lack robust research risks costs. Consequently, cost-effectiveness interventions has yet demonstrated.
